Why people pick Admiral for their uPVC windows.

Four things customers mention again and again, in their own words.

  • Measured by us

Our own surveyors measure every opening, so every window is made to measure. Nothing comes off the shelf.

“…millimetre-perfect measuring & advice by Jay, professional and experienced fitters by Nick and Andy…”

    Dean Catchpole, Trustpilot, Oct 2025
  • The period look

Flush frames, sliding sashes, woodgrain finishes and astragal bars, for the look of timber without the painting.

“They couldn’t get closer to an original sash window if they tried. (We have PVC sash.)”

    Shante Manners, Trustpilot, Jun 2023
  • Built to last

Steel-reinforced frames, branded hinges and hardware, and multi-point locking on every window.

“Excellent product, very good quality UPVC windows and Aluminium doors.”

    Adrian Leveridge, Trustpilot, May 2026
  • Clean and tidy

Long-serving fitters who clear up behind themselves, and the old windows leave with them.

“The fitters were very polite and went about their work in an efficient and tidy manner.”

    John Daniels, Trustpilot, Nov 2025

Four uPVC systems. One that suits your home.

REHAU makes its frames in Wales and VEKA makes Halo in Lancashire, and every system is made to measure and fitted the same way. We’ll tell you which one fits your house and budget at your survey.

Halo
Our most popular system, made by VEKA: System 10 with clean, bevelled lines, or Rustique with a softer, sculptured look, as casements, flush casements or tilt and turn.
Most homes, and flush casements on a budget
REHAU
REHAU says one in seven uPVC windows in the UK is made from its profile. Steel-reinforced frames, made in Wales.
Strength and warmth
Kömmerling
Premium, German-engineered uPVC, good for sound and weatherproofing.
Busy roads and exposed spots
Residence 7 and 9
Flush, timber-look heritage frames, made for period and character properties.

Seven styles. See how each one opens.

Every uPVC style we fit. Choose one, and we’ll note it on your quote.

Window style

Casement

  • Side- or top-hung windows that open outwards, with fixed panes where you don’t need an opener.
  • In uPVC from Halo, REHAU or Kömmerling, or slim aluminium from Smart, Origin or Cortizo.

White is just the start. Colours, woodgrains and glass.

Colours and finishes

Pick one colour outside and another inside, or a woodgrain that passes for timber at a glance.

  • White
  • Grey
  • Black
  • Cream
  • Woodgrain
  • Grey out, white in

The squares are only a guide. See and touch the real samples in the showroom.

Double or triple glazing?

Double glazing is warm, quiet and good value, which is why most homes choose it. Triple glazing cuts heat loss further, for energy-conscious homes or exposed spots.

  • A-rated double glazing as standard
  • Acoustic glass for busy roads
  • Toughened safety glass where it’s needed
  • Comfort Plus glass, for security and quiet

How much do uPVC windows cost?

Every window is made to measure, so the price depends on the size, style, system, colour and glass. We don’t guess from a photo: one of our own surveyors measures every opening for free, and you get a written quote to take away. Finance is available at 12.9% APR representative.

Which uPVC styles can I choose from?

Casement, flush casement, sliding sash, tilt and turn, French casement, bay and bow, and shaped windows, all made to measure.

Are uPVC windows energy efficient?

Yes. Ours are A-rated as standard, with triple or acoustic glazing if you want them, and every one has multi-point locking.

Will uPVC look right on an older house?

It can. Flush casements sit level in the frame like timber windows, sliding sashes have deep bottom rails and run-through horns, and woodgrain finishes pass for wood. Residence 7 and 9 are made for period homes, and flush casements can have timber-style joints. Your council decides what’s allowed in a conservation area, so we’ll check what’s likely to suit at your survey.

What’s the difference between astragal and Georgian bars?

Astragal bars are fixed to the outside of the glass, with spacers inside the unit, so the window looks like it has separate panes. Georgian bars sit inside the sealed unit, which makes the glass easier to clean.

How do I know my windows need replacing?

Draughts, condensation between the panes, windows that stick or are hard to open, worn seals and visible damage are the usual signs. Even windows that still work can be upgraded for warmth and security.

Who will fit my windows?

One of our own surveyors measures every opening first, then Admiral’s long-serving fitting teams do the installation. Customers often name them in their reviews.

Can I spread the cost?

Yes. Finance through Novuna at 12.9% APR representative, from £500 to £25,000 over 1 to 10 years, or buy now, pay later at 14.9% APR. Finance is subject to status. Try the calculator.
