How much does a new front door cost?
Every door is made to measure, so the price depends on the range, size, glass, colour and hardware, and on any side panels or toplight. We measure the opening for free and give you a written quote to take away. Finance is available at 12.9% APR representative.
Composite, solid timber core, uPVC or aluminium?
Composite (Hallmark) is great value, lightweight and strong, with a timber look. Solid timber core (Endurance) is heavier, with a 48 mm timber core that feels as solid as it looks. uPVC is practical and low-maintenance, popular for back doors. Aluminium (Smart) is thick, stable and modern, in most RAL colours. Open them all in the showroom.
Are your doors secure?
Yes. Every door has multi-point locking and a reinforced frame. Composite and Smart aluminium doors are tested to PAS 24, and uPVC doors can be upgraded to it. Secured by Design is an option on many doors: it needs laminated glass and a few extra fittings, so we’ll check your choice at the survey.
How long does a new door take?
Each door is made to order, so it depends on the range and colour. Customers’ reviews mention fitting within a month to about six weeks of ordering. We’ll give you a timescale with your quote.
Can I have one colour outside and another inside?
Yes. Endurance, Smart and uPVC doors can be a different colour inside, for example grey outside and white inside, and Hallmark can paint one side or both. Most people choose white inside.
Do you fit back doors and stable doors?
Yes. Back doors fully glazed, half glazed or solid, with side panels, toplights or a pet flap if you want one. Stable doors come in Halo uPVC or Endurance composite, with both halves locking.
Can I see the doors before I choose?
Yes. Our Ipswich showroom has front doors, French, sliding and bifold doors on display, so you can open them and feel the difference. Book ahead and we’ll make sure an adviser is free.
Who will fit my door?
Admiral’s long-serving fitters, after we’ve measured the opening. One customer’s fitter had 22 years’ experience.
Can I spread the cost?
Yes. Finance through Novuna at 12.9% APR representative, from £500 to £25,000 over 1 to 10 years, or buy now, pay later at 14.9% APR. Finance is subject to status. Try the calculator.
