Four sliders. See how much frame you get.
From great-value uPVC to ultra-slim aluminium. Pick a system and the number of panes, and watch the frames get slimmer. Ask for a quote and we’ll note it; we’ll recommend the right one for your opening at the survey.
Halo, uPVC
- Classic, reliable and great value, with easy-glide rollers and a wide range of colours and handles. A solid choice for most homes.
REHAU Slinova, uPVC
- A slimline uPVC frame for more glass and better views, with sleek, modern styling and excellent insulation.
Smart, aluminium
- Slimmer frames than uPVC, and strong: aluminium doesn’t rot or warp, and never needs painting. Solid, dependable and great value.
Cortizo, ultra-slim
- A centre post of just 20 to 25 mm on Cortizo’s slimmest sliders, panes up to 4 m wide or high, and pocket and cornerless options, for extensions and architect-designed homes.
A guide to the layout and frame widths, not to scale, and the colours are only a guide. Aluminium comes in any RAL colour.
Slim frames. Secure and warm.
The less frame where the panes meet, the more garden you see. Every slider we fit also has:
- Multi-point locking and reinforced frames
- Anti-lift tracks on our uPVC sliders
- A-rated uPVC, or thermally broken aluminium
- Smooth runners that glide, even on big panes
Time to replace your patio doors?
New sliders are a big step up from old uPVC or timber ones. We measure the opening, take the old doors out, fit the new ones and clear up.
- Hard to slide
- Heavy, sticking or noisy doors: new rollers and tracks glide with a push.
- Draughty or cold
- Worn seals or misted glass: today’s sliders are A-rated and draught-free.
- Chunky frames
- Slimmer frames mean more glass and a better view of the garden.
- Hard to lock
- Multi-point locks, and anti-lift tracks on uPVC sliders.
“We needed to repair / replace the locking system on a long-installed patio door. The service provided was first class and VERY speedy.”
Ultra-slim Cortizo. The glass almost disappears.
For the cleanest lines and the widest views, on extensions and new builds:
- A centre post of just 20 to 25 mm, and panes up to 4 m wide or high
- Pocket doors that slide into the wall, for a completely open room
- Frameless corners: two sliders meet at 90° with no post
- On display in our Ipswich showroom

How many panes can I have?
Two, three or four, to suit your opening and the room.
uPVC or aluminium?
Halo uPVC is classic and great value; REHAU Slinova is a slimmer uPVC frame. Smart aluminium is slimmer again and very strong, and Cortizo is ultra-slim. Compare them side by side in the showroom.
Are sliding doors secure?
Yes. Every slider has multi-point locking and reinforced frames, and our uPVC sliders have anti-lift tracks.
Will they keep the heat in?
Yes. Halo and REHAU Slinova sliders are A-rated and designed to cut draughts, and our aluminium sliders have thermally broken frames and high-performance glass.
Are aluminium sliders heavy to open?
Big panes are heavy, but good runners make them easy to move. For the biggest doors we can fit lift-and-slide or motorised opening.
Can the doors slide into the wall?
Yes, with Cortizo’s pocket system, for a completely open room. Cortizo can also make a frameless corner, where two sliders meet with no post.
How much do patio doors cost?
It depends on the system, the size, the number of panes, the colour and the glass. We measure for free and give you one written price for the doors and the fitting. Finance is available at 12.9% APR representative.
Can I see them first?
Yes. Compare aluminium and uPVC sliders side by side in our Ipswich showroom, including Cortizo ultra-slim doors. Book ahead and we’ll make sure an adviser is free.
Who will fit my patio doors?
Admiral’s long-serving fitters, who work only for Admiral, after we’ve measured the opening.
Can I spread the cost?
Yes. Finance through Novuna at 12.9% APR representative, from £500 to £25,000 over 1 to 10 years, or buy now, pay later at 14.9% APR. Finance is subject to status. Try the calculator.
