How much do replacement windows cost?
Every window is made to measure, so the price depends on the size, style, frame and glass. We don’t guess from a photo: one of our own surveyors measures every opening for free, then you get a written quote to take away. If you’d like to spread the cost, finance is available at 12.9% APR representative.
Who will fit my windows?
One of our own surveyors measures every opening first, then Admiral’s long-serving fitting teams do the installation. Customers often name them in their reviews: Andy and Nick, Ash and Jake, Shaun and Carl.
Will you take the old windows away?
Yes. Our fitters take the old frames and glass out, clear up behind themselves and take the old windows away with them.
uPVC or aluminium: which is right for my home?
uPVC is the affordable, versatile, low-maintenance choice, and flush or woodgrain styles can pass for timber. Aluminium gives you slimmer frames, more glass and a crisp modern finish, and with the right detailing it suits older homes too. Both are A-rated as standard. Compare them side by side in our showroom, or ask at your survey.
Are your windows energy efficient?
Yes. All our windows are A-rated as standard, with triple glazing and acoustic glass available. In England, replacement windows must reach a U-value of 1.4 W/m²K or better, or energy rating Band B, and every window we offer meets or beats that.
I live in a period home or a conservation area. Can you help?
Yes. Flush casements and sliding sash windows are made to look like traditional timber, and your council decides what’s allowed in a conservation area. For listed buildings, where the original windows have to stay, secondary glazing adds warmth and quiet from the inside. We’ll tell you what’s likely to suit at your survey.
How soon can you fit them?
Every window is made to measure, so timing depends on the system, colour and glass you choose. We’ll give you a timescale with your written quote, and agree the fitting date with you.
Can I spread the cost?
Yes. Finance through Novuna at 12.9% APR representative, from £500 to £25,000 over 1 to 10 years, or buy now, pay later at 14.9% APR. Finance is subject to status. Try the calculator.
