Modern aluminium windows have thermal breaks: insulating barriers inside the frame that stop heat travelling through the metal. So slim frames don’t mean cold rooms.

How much do aluminium windows cost?
Every window is made to measure, so the price depends on the size, style, system, colour and glass. One of our own surveyors measures every opening for free, and you get a written quote to take away. Finance is available at 12.9% APR representative.
Aren’t aluminium windows cold?
Not any more. Our aluminium windows have thermal breaks inside the frame that stop heat travelling through the metal, and they’re A-rated as standard, with double or triple glazing.
Can I choose any colour?
Yes: over 150 RAL colours, in textured, matt or gloss finishes, with one colour outside and another inside if you like. Woodgrain is available on some Origin frames.
Which aluminium systems do you use?
Smart for versatility and value, Origin for a premium finish, and Cortizo for modern and steel-look architectural profiles.
Will aluminium suit an older house?
It can. With the right detailing, colours and glazing bars, aluminium suits traditional homes too, and Crittall-style heritage frames suit 1930s homes, conversions and listed buildings.
We live near the coast. Will they last?
Aluminium doesn’t rot or warp, and never needs painting. Near the sea we specify a marine finish and tell you what each maker’s guarantee covers, because they get shorter close to the water. A wash every few months keeps the finish looking good.
How long do aluminium windows take?
It depends on the system, shape and colour. Some standard profiles and colours, such as anthracite grey or black, can be ready in as little as four weeks; bespoke shapes and colours take longer. We’ll give you a timescale with your written quote.
